The promise of warmer weather brings with it a flurry of exciting new events, from concerts to hotly anticipated art exhibitions. Sporting events are also in abundance as we move into the summer months, with some of the most wonderful annual social occasions just on the horizon. With this in mind, we present a reminder of the most fabulous events to add to your calendar for this season.
Monaco Grand Prix 23rd – 26th May

Royal Ascot 18th – 22nd June
Held over five days, Royal Ascot offers the chance to attend one of the best competitions in British horse racing and Her Majesty The Queen is in attendance each year. Along with premium seating options, VIP packages are available which include champagne receptions and sumptuous fine dining.
Glastonbury Festival 26th – 30th June

Wimbledon 1st – 14th July 2019
The annual Wimbledon tennis tournament is a firm favourite in both the sporting and social calendar, with exciting matches held on each of the fourteen days of the competition. The Eagles Wembley Stadium 23rd June 2019
With support from Sheryl Crow, The Eagles will take to the stage of Wembley Arena this summer on the European leg of their critically acclaimed tour. With six number one albums, The Eagles are an iconic band of the 1970s whose songs are just as fantastic and relevant as ever.
P!nk Wembley Stadium 29th & 30th June 2019
As part of her Beautiful Drama World Tour, P!nk will play two dates in London – her first UK headline concerts in over five years. Expect an electric atmosphere and an astounding performance from this wonderful powerhouse of pop.
Van Gogh and Britain Tate Britain until 11th August
This exhibition, the first of its kind in the UK for more than seven decades, will explore the relationship between Van Gogh and Britain through a collection of 45 works, including Sunflowers (1888), on loan from the National Gallery.
Cindy Sherman National Portrait Gallery 27th June – 15th Sept
New and never-before-exhibited work will be on show at this Cindy Sherman retrospective, as part of a group of over 150 works from both international and private collections. Featuring the iconic series Untitled Film Stills, 1977-80, the exhibition will be an examination of the artist’s work from the 1970s to the current day.
The Lehman Trilogy Piccadilly Theatre, Denman Street from 11th May
A story of three parts, The Lehman Trilogy is a wonderful adaptation of Stefano Massini’s play, which tells the long history of Lehman Brothers, a company which triggers an immense financial crisis.
