HOPE FOR CHILDREN’S 2018 CHARITY BALL FUNDRAISER
Hope For Children’s annual Hope Ball is an extravagant celebration of the charity’s outstanding humanitarian efforts across the globe. Following two years of record-setting fundraisers, this year’s event on 8th November is set to be an unforgettable night of both luxury entertainment and fearless activism.
This November, London’s iconic Renaissance Hotel and its incredible views over St Pancras will once again set the scene for the annual Hope Ball. Every year, this black-tie charity ball attracts guests from sectors including finance, law & property to spend a magical evening and recognise Hope for Children’s exceptional achievements over the last 12 months. Last year’s sell-out event was their most successful event ever. The ball welcomed more than 260 guests and raised a spectacular £81,500 towards the charity’s Head Held High Appeal. This year’s event is aimed to surpass previous years’ high expectations. The hotel’s ornate Victorian doors will open at 7pm to a lavishly prepared champagne reception. In the Hansom Hall, guests will be treated to a magnificent 3 course dinner with exquisite wines. An array of luxury prizes are to be won throughout the evening, culminating with a grand awards ceremony, which this year will include the winner of the Young Team Hope Award for the first time. Complete with a live auction, live music and a few edible surprises, 2018’s highly anticipated Hope Ball is set to be a night our members will not want to miss.
STORIES OF HOPE
Hope For Children has been fighting to transform the lives of vulnerable children ever since its foundation in 1994 by Dr. Bob Parsons OBE. The international charity aims to give hope and support to children all across the world, almost half of which are living in poverty. Through improving access to education and healthcare, Hope For Children has helped establish a promising future for 161,000 children and adults over the last four years. Now working in nine countries, the charity has empowered children and their families to seek a better life, from the most poverty-stricken urban areas to the most secluded rural communities. The charity has also been consistently praised for its outstanding contribution to HIV and AIDs education and prevention. Focusing on marginalised groups including orphans and children suffering from disabilities, their quality education and income-generation schemes allow children from all walks of life to have a hopeful, successful future.
A REAL CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION
“There is always an air of excitement and anticipation surrounding The Hope Ball… the warmth and generosity of everyone in attendance has been incredible, and it is unbelievably humbling to be in a room filled with such passion and belief in the life-changing work of Hope for Children.” – Murielle Maupoint, CEO at the Hope Ball 2017.
